2026 TEEA Conference Scholarships Available

Scholarship funding is available to help Tennessee educators and environmental education professionals attend the 2026 TEEA Annual Conference!

The Tennessee Environmental Education Association invites educators and community partners from across the state to join us for Currents of Change: Education at the Intersection of Power, Place, and Progress, September 25–27, 2026, at Pickwick Landing State Park in Hardin County.

Expanding Access to TEEA 2026

Through an Environmental Education Grant awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to Ivy Academy, Ivy Academy and the Tennessee Environmental Education Association (TEEA) are pleased to offer scholarship funding to help reduce financial barriers to conference participation.

This funding is part of a collaborative effort between Ivy Academy and TEEA to expand access to high-quality environmental education professional development and strengthen environmental education capacity across Tennessee.

Scholarships are available to support conference registration costs for eligible educators and environmental education professionals from across Tennessee.

Who Should Apply?

We encourage applications from:

  • K–12 classroom teachers and administrators

  • STEM and agricultural educators

  • Informal and nonformal educators

  • Extension agents

  • Park, museum, conservation, and natural resource professionals

  • Nonprofit and community-based educators

  • Others working to connect Tennesseans with environmental education

Priority consideration will be given to applicants serving grant priority communities and to educators and community-based professionals for whom registration costs may present a barrier to participation.

Targeted outreach is being conducted in Hardin County, where the 2026 conference is being held, as well as other grant priority communities across Tennessee.

Scholarships will be awarded based on grant priorities, demonstrated need, and available funding.

If conference registration costs would make it difficult for you to participate, we encourage you to apply. Please also help us reach educators across Tennessee by sharing this opportunity with schools, organizations, colleagues, and community partners who may benefit from scholarship support.
