2025 TEEA Conference Information

Join us for the 2025 TEEA Conference

September 25–28, 2025 | Chattanooga, TN | Ivy Academy | Tennessee Aquarium

Streams to Systems

This year’s theme, "Streams to Systems," celebrates how powerful environmental education begins with individual currents—ideas, actions, and programs—that flow together into lasting, systemic change.

Whether you're an educator, researcher, community leader, or advocate, your work contributes to a larger movement. From a single drop to a transformative wave—environmental education connects us all.

Whether you're pioneering cutting-edge research or sharing a lesson that just works, we want you to present at Tennessee’s premier Environmental Education event — the 2025 TEEA Annual Conference in Chattanooga, TN • September 25–28!

Our six conference streams will add to the toolkits of all educators who are helping EE thrive: from early access and community partnerships to research, real-world impact, and beyond.

Join the watershed. Your work matters—let it flow into something bigger.

Scholarship Opportunities

Thanks to support from the EPA, TEEA is offering 80 reimbursement scholarships for educators to attend the 2025 conference. Each scholarship is valued at $250 and will be paid as a reimbursement scholarship after the conference concludes. Save your receipts!

Scholarships are open to both formal and informal educators across Tennessee, with priority given to those serving educators working with high-poverty students, public schools, and high-poverty or persistent-poverty counties. Applications will be reviewed to ensure broad geographic and demographic representation.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through September 22, 2025. Selected recipients will receive support for conference participation and the opportunity to join a statewide network of educators integrating environmental education into their classrooms and programs.
