TEEA's 2008 conference,  "Energizing EE in Tennessee" was held in Oak Ridge, TN September 19th-21st. Field trips to  the UT Arboretum, a schoolyard wetland, a wind farm and an elk preserve were among the highlights.  A special dinner and tour of the Museum of Appalachia was held Saturday night. The keynote address, "Is Global Warming Real?" was delivered by Dr. Mac Post from Oak Ridge National Lab.
